Training and Requirements

All Aeolus techs are trained at a minimum with the following:


  • OSHA 10/30 WIND (Developed Internally)
  • First Aid/CPR
  • FALL Protection and tower rescue
  • Defensive Driving Techniques
  • Confined space
  • LOTO
  • Haz whopper
  • Arc Flash and Electrical training (two day program)
  • Crane signal training


Site Leads are Additionally trained with leadership and management training.

TRAINING

Qualifications are as follows.

  • Willingness to travel up to 7 weeks at a time
  • Ability to work in excess of 45-65 hours a week
  • Ability to climb wind turbines up to 400 Feet
  • Clear DMV Record (NO DUI/DWI) WITHIN LAST 5 YEARS AND NO MORE THAN TWO MOVING VIOLATIONS WITHIN LAST TWO YEARS..

Become an Aeolus Energy Servicing Technician
